Club Information
Located along the beautiful downtown Portland waterfront, OutriggerSports USA delivers centrally located outrigger canoeing programs to the Portland Metro area. Our affordable memberships provide accessible padding opportunities to the Portland Metro Area.
Our developing club welcomes individual and team paddlers alike. We invite you to paddle with us. OutriggerSports membership comes from the dragon boating, paddling and local outrigger communities. This wide range of skills and interest gives our club members unique paddling opportunities. Whether you're forming a new team, looking for a competitive team or just want to paddle occasionally, OutriggerSports has a program and fellow paddlers to meet your needs.
History
With a nine member task force, interest from 12 dragon boat teams and a loan from DragonSports USA, OutriggerSports USA was developed to offer new challenges and cross-training opportunities to the growing downtown paddling community.
Mission Statement
We offer our membership a supportive environment designed to help them attain their recreational, skill building and competitive paddling goals. OutriggerSports USA fosters the health and well-being of our membership, community and the sport of outrigger canoeing. We value our environment, friends and family.
